From the left side of the page, hover the mouse over the
Assessment Manager icon, and then go to
Tasks and Issues (1)
> All Tasks (2).

From the top-right corner of the Tasks page, click
Create Task (3).

On the Create Task page, complete the following
fields.
Summary — Enter
a short task title. Displayed in the task lists on both the
Dashboard and Tasks pages.
Priority — Set to
Low, Medium, or High.
Due Date — Optional.
The date by which you want the assignee to complete the task.
Level of Effort
— Set to Low, Low-Med, Medium, Medium-High, or High.
Level of Risk (if not completed)
— Set to Low, Low-Med, Medium, Medium-High, or High.
TrustArc Framework
— Select which of the 16 TrustArc Framework L2 Standards
the task is mapped to.
Assigned To — Select
the person to assign the task to. You can assign it to yourself
and reassign it to another person later.
Email Notifications
— Enable either or both options: Send Reminders
(automatic due-date reminders to the assignee) and
Notify when completed (notification to you
when the task is marked complete).
Description — Enter
task instructions or context for the assignee.
Assessment — Optionally
associate the task with a specific assessment. Note that
a manual task associated with an assessment does not block
the assessment from reaching Approved status. To block approval
until the task is complete, create a
Remediation Task
instead.
📋 Assigning to a non-system user
›To
assign the task to a non-system user, click the
Non-System Users radio button and search
for the user. If the user is not found, click the +
button and enter their details to add them.
›After
the task is created, a notification email is sent to the
non-system user's email address. Any reply to that email
is added as a comment to the task.
›Whoever
clicks the Mark as Complete button completes
the task.

Click Save.
The new task appears in the Tasks list with the type Manual, and the assignee receives an email notification with a link to the task.
