Benefits
This allows users to easily identify the status of the risk assessment and data transfer risk assessment that was created to calculate the residual risk score of the Business Process or Data Inventory record.
Details
In this release, the following new columns will be added to the Business Processes and Data Inventory list pages:
- Risk Assessment – This shows the status of the assessment used to evaluate control effectiveness to calculate residual risk. This can be Open, In Progress, In Review, or Approved. Clicking the status redirects you to the Summary page of the assessment. Note that if an assessment has not been created, the Start Assessment link becomes available, and when clicked, a Start Assessment modal appears allowing users to select an assessment template to start an assessment.
The screenshot below shows the Start Assessment modal that appears after you click Start Assessment to calculate the residual risk of the business process record:
The screenshot below shows the Risk Profile dashboard of a business record that the system redirects you to after you click the Residual Risk status of the record:
- Data Transfer Assessment – This shows the status of the data transfer risk assessment. This can be Open, In Progress, In Review, or Approved. If an assessment has not been created, a Start Assessment link becomes available allowing users to create and start an assessment. Note that users must have access to Assessment Manager to do this.
The columns are selected by default.
NOTES:
- Only users with access to Risk Profile can view and configure these columns in the Configure Columns menu.
- The new columns are also added to Data Inventory .CSV exports. Only users with access to Risk Profile can see the Export option.
- Risk Assessment and Data Transfer Risk Assessment filters are also added to the Business Processes and Data Inventory list pages.
