Ability to close requests without sending emails to Data Subjects
Description: DPOs assigned to the requests and Admins can now close the requests without sending emails to the Data Subjects. They will be required to provide a reason to not send email to the Data Subject.

Ability to customize many different “Internal” email templates that are used for internal stakeholder notifications
Description: IRM now supports the ability to customize many different Internal email template types. These email templates are used in notifying stakeholders that need to work on the
requests. Following are the “Internal” Email template types:
- New Request: This is a new request notification email sent to DPOs assigned to the Request and Admins when a new request is created
- Mentions: This is the notification sent to users when they are mentioned in the comments of a request.
- New Task to Internal Assignee: This is the notification sent to IRM users when a new task is
- New Task to External Assignee: This is the notification sent to external users (an email that doesn’t have login access to the IRM) when a new task is assigned to them. Currently, a new task can only be assigned to external users when a task is created for an IT System using the Data Inventory Hub integration.
- All Tasks Completed: This is a notification sent to request assignees when all tasks under that request are completed.
- Task Changes for Internal Assignee: This is the notification sent to task assignees when any information on the task changes.
- Task Changes for Externa Assignee: This is the notification sent to external users assigned to the task when any information on the task changes.
- New Request for Assignee: This is the notification sent to the new assignee when assignees on the request changes.
- Approaching due date: this is the notification email sent to DPOs assigned to the request and Admins when due date on a request is approaching.

Ability to turn email notifications ON/OFF
Description: IRM supports ability to turn certain email notifications ON or OFF account wide.
- Data Subject Notifications that can be turned ON/OFF
- Failed Identity Verification: This is the email notification sent to Data Subjects if IDology Verification fails.
- Closing request due to unverified email: This is the notification sent to Data Subject if their request is closed due to unverified email.
- Return email when a Data Subject replies to an email X days after the request is closed: This is the notification sent to Data Subject if they reply to an email certain days after the request is closed. For example, if the date setting accompanied with this setting is set to “7”, 7 days after the request is closed, Data Subject’s email will not be processed and error email will be sent back to them saying their email was not processed.
- Stakeholder notification that can be turned ON/OFF
- Change of Assignees on a request: This is the notification sent when assignees change on a request.
- Approaching due date email notifications to Admins: This is the notification sent to Admins
- Approaching due date email notifications to Admins: This is the notification sent to DPOs assigned to the request when the due date is approaching on a request.
- Notification to assignees upon email from the Data Subject: This is the notification sent to request assignees when an email reply is received from the data subject. Mentions: This is the email notification sent to users mention on the request comments.
- Comments: This is the notification sent to applicable users when there is a new comment on the request.
- New attachments: This is the notification sent to applicable users when there is a new attachment uploaded to the request.
- New Tasks: This is the notification sent to internal and external assignees when there is a task in the system.
- Task change notifications to Task assignees: This is the notification sent to task assignees on the task when there is a change in the task fields.
- Task change notifications to request assignees: This is the notification sent to request assignees on the task when there is a change in the task fields.
All tasks completed for a request: This is the notification sent to request assignees when all tasks on a request are completed.

Ability to create requests manually with past Created date and with a closed date
Description: IRM now allows Admins and DPOs to create requests manually on behalf of a Data Subject with a past Created Date and also with closed date. If closed date is specified, request is closed and no emails are sent to the Data Subject.

Activity Log support for requests
Description: IRM supports showing activity log on the requests. Activity log details all the events that happened to the request.

Ability to record reject reason in the request
Description: TrustArc Product Release Summary Sheet
DPOs assigned to the request or admins can now record the Reject Reason while rejecting the request. This will be recorded in the request and in the Activity Log.
