Ability to Manually Verify Evident ID
Benefits
This enhancement enables users to manually trigger Evident ID when the Data Subject is not detected in the system and to manage the verification for unknown users.
Details
The data processor now has the option to manually trigger Evident ID during Data Subject Request (DSR) verification. A new Manual Verification option is added to the EvidentID Verification dropdown menu on the Integrations page and on the Integrations tab of the Intake Form.

When users create a DSR using the intake form, where Evident ID verification is set to “Manual Verification,” the processor can manually trigger the Evident ID verification.
Data Subject Request Handling
A new Execute Verification button is added to the Identity Verification Status section of the Data Subject Request Details page. When processors click the button, IRM displays a modal, which allows users to customize the verification message.
This enhancement also adds a new Evident ID Manual Verification email template, which also allows users to customize their email message. If users prefer not to add a custom message, IRM uses the default recommended message.
When executed, IRM automatically sends the Evident ID link to the Data Subject. The system dynamically updates the button description to “Pending” and becomes read-only. Manual verification retains the DSR status as In Progress and does not revert it to Unverified.
When a Data Subject confirms their identity, the system automatically updates the status to "Verified," and the field becomes read-only. Users are restricted from re-sending the verification link via Evident ID once the identity confirmation is completed.
In scenarios where the data processor has executed the manual verification, then decided to edit the Data Subject Email using the "Edit data subject details" feature, the Evident ID Verification button will revert to "Execute Verification." The processor will also have the opportunity to resend the verification link to the new email address. IRM records each execution in the Activity Log tab of the DSR details and the results are also added in the Comments tab.
New Phone Number Form Field
Benefits
This enhancement gives users the ability to use the Phone No. form field in their intake form.
Details
A new Phone No. form field is introduced to enable users to add phone numbers more efficiently. Similar to the existing form fields, there are form field attributes for Display, Styling, Validation, and Settings. Users can add it in the renderer and the system records it in the Data Subject Request details. In addition, parameter flags also work for the Phone No. form field.
