Creating Badges

Overview

Badges represent your organisation's certifications, accreditations, and standards compliance — such as TRUSTe, ISO certifications, SOC 2, or PCI DSS. Displaying badges on your Trust Center gives visitors immediate, visible assurance of the privacy and security standards your organisation meets.

TrustArc maintains a library of standard badges you can request through your Customer Success and Implementation Manager. You can also upload your own custom badge images. This article explains how to create a badge from the Badges section of the Trust Center Setup menu.

What you can do
Upload a custom badge image and give it a title and optional description
Edit or delete an existing badge from the Badges list
Translate badge titles and descriptions into all configured languages using AI
Creating a Badge

To create a badge, follow these steps. Badges could be your certification seals (e.g., TRUSTe, ISO) or other standards met (SOC 2, PCI DSS, etc.) TrustArc has a library of badges you can use that you can ask your Customer Success and Implementation Manager about.

1
From the Setup section, go to the Badges tab, and then click the Add or Add Badge button.

2
From the Add Badge modal, do the following:

Click the Image Upload button to upload an image of the badge.
Enter the title of the badge.
Enter the description. This is optional.
3
Click Save.

You can edit or delete the badge you created by clicking the appropriate icon to its right.

📋 Note: If you have added languages in the Languages setup page, a tab for each added language (1) will appear next to the English language tab. You can click Translate All(2) to translate the badge title and description from English to all other languages using AI.
