Creating a Sub-Processor

 

Overview

Sub-processors are third-party organizations that process personal data on behalf of your organization. Adding them to your Trust Center allows visitors to see which sub-processors you use, what data elements they access, what data subjects they involve, and for what processing purposes.

This article explains how to create a sub-processor entry in your Trust Center, how to edit or delete an existing entry, and how to customize the columns displayed in the Sub-Processors list. If you have configured multiple languages, AI-powered translation is available to translate sub-processor data into all configured languages at once.

What you can do
✓Create a sub-processor with name, data elements, data subjects, and processing purposes
✓Edit or delete an existing sub-processor from the list
✓Customize which columns are shown in the Sub-Processors list
✓Translate sub-processor content into all configured languages using AI
Creating a Sub-Processor

To create a sub-processor, follow these steps:

From the Setup section, go to the Sub-Processors tab, and then click the Add button.

From the Add Sub-Processor modal, enter the following information:
•Sub-processor
•Data Elements
•Data Subjects
•Processing Purposes

Click Save.

The sub-processor you created is automatically listed in the Sub-Processors list page. If you want to edit or delete a sub-processor, click the Edit or Delete icon (2) to its right.

Customizing Columns

You can click the Customize Columns button (1) to customize the columns displayed in the Sub-Processors list. In the Customize Columns modal, you can do any of the following:

•Click Add Column (3) to add a column.
•Click, hold and drag the icon (4) to reorder the columns.
•You can hide or delete the column by clicking the Hide or Delete button (5) to its right.

📋 Note: If you have added languages in the Languages setup page, a tab for each added language (6) will appear next to the English language tab. You can click Translate All (7) to translate the data elements, data subjects, and processing purposes from English to all other languages using AI.
