Ability to Set Form Fields to Hidden or Read-Only

Benefits

Users need the ability to set their form fields to hidden or read-only when they render their forms. This feature is only available in upgraded forms. To check if your form is upgraded, go to the form editing page and check if an Upgrade Form button is available for the form. If it is not, your form is already upgraded to the latest form rendering technology.

Details

This feature enables users to set their form fields to Hidden or Read-Only. When users mark the form fields as Hidden, IRM hides the field while rendering the form. When the users mark the form fields as Read-Only, IRM displays the value in read-only form.

Form Field Enhancements

Benefits

IRM now supports the following features on form fields:

  • Default Placeholder Text and Helpful Information Text
  • Styling
  • Default Values

Details

The form fields such as I am, Name, and Request Type in the upgraded intake forms now support Default Placeholder Text and Helpful Information Text fields.

Users can now enter a short description or hint that describes the expected value of an input field in the Default Placeholder Text field. They can also display a help icon or tooltip next to a form field to provide more information by using the Helpful Information Text field.

Users can now apply styling for Name and Request Type form fields. They can set the form field’s font face, font size, label text color, field input text color, form field background color, form field stroke color, and the required field indicator color. Users can also erase the custom settings and restore styling to default settings when they click the Reset to default button.

In addition, this feature enables the users to set the initial default value of the I am and Request Type form fields. Users can set the default value of the I am field to be Customer, Employee, or Other.

Then, users can set the default value of the Request Type field to be any of the request types in the dropdown list.

Improved Intake Form Rendering: Removed Third-Party Cookies Dependency

Benefits

Users need the ability to render intake forms without third-party cookies.

Details

With this enhancement, rendering of intake forms are no longer dependent on third-party cookies.
