    NOTE:
    • The Identifiers cannot be edited or deleted if the data subject type is already associated with the consent form or consent data.
    • New groups can be added even if the data subject type is already associated with the consent form or consent data.
    • The Identifier, either Custom or Standard, is based on the source. If the Identifier is from the content standard, then it will be added to the Content Standard Category. If a custom Identifier is created from scratch, then it will be added to the Custom Category.
  1. Click Add to create a new Identifier Group. Identifiers under a group must be able to uniquely identify a Data Subject within Data Subject Type.  For example, name, address, city, state, zip, and country can be in a group as they together can uniquely identify a consumer with Data Subject Type Consumer.

  2. Add your Data Fields by clicking the  icon (1) or the Add Data Fields (1) link. Select a Data Field from the list and click Add (2).

The selected Data Field will be added to the Data Fields column.

Similar to Identifiers, Data Fields can also be grouped.  You can do this by clicking the Add Group link and then adding your Data Fields within the created group. Group is used to record the Legal Basis for Processing of the Data, while data fields are the data collected for Data Subjects. This data is grouped by Legal Basis for Processing.
