Creating Custom Data Subject Type Identifiers

To create custom data subject type identifiers, follow these steps:

1. Under the Identifiers tab, select the ⊕ icon. The Add Data Subject Identifier window displays.
   
   

3. Enter the following information in the fields provided:
   
   

• • Data Subject Type Identifier – This is the type of identifier used to associate a data subject.
  • Identifier Name – This is a unique name of the identifier.
  • Field Type – Select from a list of Input Fields or Selection Fields.
  • Description – Enter a brief description of the identifier.

3. Click the Add button to create the custom data subject type identifier.
   
   
   
   NOTE: Custom identifiers are marked with “C” for easy identification.
   
   

4. Update the default validation set on the identifier fields by clicking on the gear icon. The validation set will be carried over to the consent form when this Data Subject Type is associated and this identifier is used in the form.
