Set Up Consent Validity

The Consent Validity page allows you to set a timeframe for consent expiration. The length of time the consent is valid varies by consent jurisdiction. You can set the consent validity under Setup > Jurisdiction.

By default, the consent validity is set to Does not expire. You may choose to set the default configuration as is or assign a specific number of days by clicking the After ___ days radio button.

To set up a custom data consent validity for a specific region or data subject, follow these steps:

  1. From the Consent Validity page, click the Add Data Consent Validity button. The Add Consent Validity window displays.

  1. Select a Country Name and a DS Type Name in the fields provided. Country Name is required and DS Type is optional.

  1. Set the Consent Validity to either Does not expire or After___ days.

  2. Once set, click the Add button to create the custom consent validity.
