Data Subject Types are the group of people for whom the consent data is collected. For example, consumers, employees, job applicants can be different types of Data Subject Types. To set up data subject types, follow the steps below.
- From the Consent & Preferences platform navigation panel, select Setup > Data Subject Types.
- In the Data Subject Types page, Data Subject Type Identifiers are listed under the Identifiers tab. Data Subject identifier is personal data used to uniquely identify a data subject on its own or with other identifiers. A list of standard identifiers such as Email, Phone Numbers, etc. is provided by default. In addition, Admins can create custom identifiers.
