Adding custom fields

 
Overview

TrustArc Assessment Manager lets you add any number of custom tag fields to the following system entities:

Assessment
User

Custom tag fields are useful when you need to categorize assessments or users by criteria specific to your organization — for example, by country of business, product line, or company division. You can then search and filter assessments and users by these custom fields.

How custom tag fields work

To add a custom field, you first create a Tag Group that defines the list of possible tag values users can select. Once the Tag Group is created, you associate it with an entity type — Assessment or User. The system then automatically adds the custom field to the corresponding editing pages for that entity. Users can assign one or more tags from the Tag Group to each entity, and you can search and filter by those assigned tags.
