Navigating assessment labels

 

The Labels Page

To view all labels in the system, navigate to Admin (1) > Labels (2).

📋 Notes

›You must have Administrator Role privileges, as defined on the Add User page, to see the Admin item in the main menu.

›Labels are ordered alphabetically.

When you assign a label to an answer choice on the Template creation page, the system automatically adds it to the Labels page. From the Labels page you can add one or more child labels to existing labels, or make newly created labels into child labels of other labels.

Searching Assessments by Label

A label hierarchy is particularly useful when filtering assessments on the All Assessments page using the Search by label (3) field.

📋 Note: The Search by label field may be hidden by default. Click More (4) near the filter list on the All Assessments page to reveal it.

The label hierarchy affects what the search returns:

Searching by a child label — returns only assessments assigned that specific label. For example, entering Date of Birth returns assessments where a respondent selected an answer mapped to that label.

Searching by a parent label — returns assessments assigned the parent label and any of its child labels. For example, entering Sensitive PII returns assessments labelled Sensitive PII, SSN, or Date of Birth — assuming SSN and Date of Birth are configured as child labels of Sensitive PII.
