Using Assessment Labels

Labels are an important tool for categorizing and filtering assessments by predefined criteria. Each assessment can have one or more labels assigned in the following ways.

1. Assigning labels when creating an assessment

When creating a new assessment, select one or more label names from the Labels field in the Advanced Settings section of the Create Assessment page. If a label with the typed name already exists, it will be assigned. Otherwise the system automatically creates a new label with that name.

2. Auto-assigning labels based on respondent answers

If a Data Privacy Officer assigns a label to a specific answer choice in a custom Assessment Template, the system automatically adds that label to any assessment whenever a respondent selects that answer.

📋 Example

A template includes the question "Do you collect any information from children under 13?" with Yes/No answer choices. The DPO assigns a Children under 13 label to the "Yes" choice. Whenever a respondent answers "Yes," the system automatically assigns the Children under 13 label to that assessment. You can always add or remove labels from an assessment manually, regardless of the respondent's answers.
