Generating Assessment Manager's Aggregate Reports

Overview

Aggregate reports compile information across multiple assessments. There are two types available in Assessment Manager:

Assessment Status Report

Analyzes statistics across multiple assessments based on different templates. Includes:

Number of assessments by template
Number of assessments by primary (first) approver
Number of assessments by status (Open, Survey, In Review, Approved, etc.)
Risk Heat Map by Asset/Initiative
Number of open vs. complete tasks — by primary approver and overall
Number of open vs. unresolved issues — by primary approver and overall
Number of assessments by age (time since open)
… and many other useful statistics
Questions & Responses Report

Provides question-specific information for assessments based on the same template. Shows the answers to every question in every assessment on a single chart, with answers that have issues or assigned risk clearly marked.

The filter controls (3) let you filter assessments by time, template, status, and other criteria. For the Questions & Responses Report, filter by Template (4) first to ensure all selected assessments use the same template. Click More (5) for additional filtering options. For more information, see Navigating Assessments.

Select the assessments to include in the report. You have three options:
Click Reports (6) without selecting any assessments to generate a report across all assessments matching your current filter — including those not visible on the current page.
Check individual assessments using the checkboxes (7) to the left to include specific records only.
Use the master checkbox (8) to select all assessments matching the filter criteria — including those on other pages — and then uncheck any you want to exclude.

Click Reports (6) > CSV & TXT Export, and then select Assessment Status (CSV) or Question & Responses (CSV). For the Questions & Responses Report, all selected assessments must be based on the same template.
📋 Note: To use TrustArc Excel templates for advanced charting and aggregate reporting, first generate the .csv version of your report, then copy and paste the data into the pre-configured TrustArc Excel templates as described here.
4
Once you request the .csv report, the system will email you a download link when it is ready. Large reports covering hundreds or thousands of assessments may take some time to generate. Alternatively, navigate to Reports (9) > All Reports (10) in the main menu to check the report status.

Your report will appear at the top of the list with a status of PENDING. Refresh the page periodically. Once the report status changes to OK, click the ellipsis icon next to it and select Download to open the .csv file.
