Location: Business process record, new system step
Benefit: Allows users to easily create new third party, system and company affiliate records within a business process.
How this will look to the user:
1. Create a new or open an existing business process record and navigate to the Systems Selection step (step 3).

2. Click the plus (+) icon, located in the left column next to “Added”. This will trigger the new system record template to appear.

3. If you need to create a system record owner (a third party or company affiliate record), click the “Owned By” drop-down menu (1). At the bottom of the drop-down menu, select New Third Party or New Company Affiliate (2).

4. Complete the New Third Party or New Company Affiliate template and click Next or Add located at the bottom or top-right corner of the page, respectively. A pop-up modal will appear confirming that you would like to add the new record to your Data Inventory. Once confirmed, the new record will be added to your Data Inventory.
