Feature Details

Business Process Record Redesign

Description: System Selection and Build Data Flow pages have been redesigned to only show what is currently in use rather than showing all available options. These pages now also autosave when changes are made.

Current Design

In the Business Process Record’s System selection and Build Data Flow pages, we currently use checkboxes to enable Data Subjects, Data Elements, Hosting Locations, or Data Recipients. This can be an overwhelming amount of information and can cause performance issues.

Below is an example of the Data Subjects section where there are many Data Subjects shown but only the selected Data Subjects are used by the selected System to receive data from.

New Design

  • The System Selection and Build Data Flow Pages have been redesigned to only show what is  currently added in the Business Process Record.
  • To add additional items, you can use the + Add button.
  • When changes are made, they are autosaved, so there is no longer a need to click the save button.
  • Below is an example where we only show the Data Subjects where the selected system is receiving data from.
