Updated Owners & Contacts Section in the Business Process Record
Benefit
Currently, you have limited visibility or control over which DPO and EU representatives will be added to the Article 30 report. To enhance this feature, you can now see what DPO and EU representatives are pulled from the owning organizations and you can choose to add or not add each DPO and EU Representative to the Article 30 report.
Navigation
1. From the left side of the page, hover the mouse over the Data Inventory Hub icon, and then select Business Processes.

2. Open a Business Process record and, from the Details tab (1), scroll to the Owning Organizations and Contacts section (2).

Adding an Owning Organization and Contact
- Add an owning organization and contact by clicking the button in the left corner of the table.
- A panel will appear on the right side of the page and you can select an Owning Entity from the drop-down menu.

- After selecting an Owning Entity, DPO or EU Representatives that are on the inventory record will automatically display within the DPO or EU Representatives box and you can select which contacts you would like to include on the Article 30 report by using the Yes/No toggle.
- You can add additional DPO and EU Representatives to the Owning Entity record, by clicking the “Update DPO and EU Representatives” button, which will redirect you to the inventory record in a new browser tab.
- You can select the Select this entity as the Reporting Organization for the Article 30 Report checkbox to select the entity as the Reporting Organization in the Article 30 report. This button has replaced the primary owner indicator.
