Updated the Navigation for Business Process Templates
Benefits
Customers can now access all record templates in one page, and the Settings section of the application is improved for better customer experience.
Details
In this release, the following enhancements will be deployed:
- The features/pages under Settings are arranged alphabetically.

- The current Settings > BP Templates navigation will be changed to Settings > Record Templates.

- Updated the BP Templates page header to Record Templates.

- Updated the URL from /settings/business-process-templates/list to /settings/templates/list.
Added Tabs to the Data Inventory List Page
Benefits
This allows customers to easily locate the data inventory record that they want to open and/or reconfigure.
Details
In this release, the following new tabs are added to the Data Inventory list page. For easy access, the records are now organized by record type.

- Third Party Records
- System Records
- Company Records
NOTES:
- When users are on a tab, they should only be able to see the filters for that specific tab + additional filters. For example, when they are on the Third Party Records tab and they click the third party filter icon, they should see a list of third party filters + the other filters.
- Users should be able to save their column configuration per tab.
- If the user selects Export All Records after clicking the Export .CSV button, all records on that tab should be exported.
Ability to Add Data Subject from the Build Data Flow page
Benefits
This allows customers to add data subjects from the Build Data Flow step of the business process record creation.
Details
In this release, a new feature is added in the Build Data Flow step of the business process record creation that allows users to add data subjects.
In the Build Data Flow page, after a system record is selected, users can click Add Data Subject.

The same pop-up modal will appear that is used when adding a data subject to a system on the System Selection step.

Note that by default, the data subjects that are selected on the System Selection step should automatically be added to the Build Data Flow > Sends Data to [system name] > Data Subjects section for each system. Data subjects/locations that are added to the Build Data Flow page should also be added to the System Selection tab and the system record, keeping these pages aligned.
Ability to Customize Legal Basis
Benefits
Customers can now customize the legal basis drop-down menu, adding their own custom legal basis and hiding out-of-the-box legal bases that they don’t want to display in-app.
Details
In this release, a Legal Bases page is created where all valid legal bases are listed. To access the page, go to Settings, and then select Legal Bases.

In the top-right corner of the page, users can do any of the following:

- Click Add New to add a custom legal basis.
- Click the Export button to export all or selected legal bases in a .csv file format.
- Click the Visibility icon to make all or selected legal bases visible or invisible for selection.
- Click the Delete icon to delete all or selected legal bases.
To the right of the legal basis record, under the Action column, users can do any of the following:

- Click the Link icon to unlink the legal basis from the business process records and forms it is used in.
- Click the Visibility icon to make the legal basis visible or invisible for selection.
- Click the Delete icon to delete the custom legal basis. Note that TrustArc’s pre-configured legal basis cannot be deleted.
Other important information

- The Usage column (1) shows the number of business process records that the legal basis is used in. Clicking the number opens the Areas of Usage modal where users can bulk remove the legal basis from the business process records and automation rules it is used in.

- The Created By column (2) determines whether the legal basis is a custom or a TrustArc pre-configured legal basis.
