BP Records CSV Import
Benefits
This new feature allows you to create business process records by importing them via .csv.
Details
In this release, the following Import .CSV button is added, where if clicked, a pop-up modal would appear allowing you to download the import templates, and then drag-and-drop the updated .csv file for import (one at a time) to create new or update existing business process records.

Below is the pop-up modal that appears after the Import .CSV button is clicked.

Moved the Tags tab of the Business Process Record
Benefits
Moved the Tags tab so that it is the last tab of the business process record.
Details
In this release, the Tags tab is moved to become the last tab of the business process record creation. Also changed the button name at the bottom of the tab from Next to Finish.
The screenshot below shows the location of the Tags tab prior to this release:

Ability to Bulk Delete Data Subjects, Data Recipients, and Systems on the Build Data Flow tab
Benefits
Currently, users have to delete items one by one which is time consuming. These enhancements in the Build Data Flow tab of the business process record allow them to bulk delete data subjects, data recipients, and systems.
Details
In this release, the pop-up modals on the Build Data Flow tab of the business process record are updated. After you click the Add Data Subject button (1), for example, an updated pop-up modal appears allowing you to not only add data subjects but to also bulk delete existing data subjects that are no longer applicable to the business process record.

After clicking Bulk Delete (2), you will have an option to either delete all records or delete only the 10 visible records.

The same procedure is followed when deleting multiple data recipients and systems at the same time.
Added BP Form Smart URL to BP Form .CSV Export
Benefits
When customers manage a large number of business process (BP) form URLs, it’s hard to get the URLs easily without having to enter them one by one, and select the “Generate Smart URL” option. By providing the URL in the export, it is now easier to access and use the URLs for multiple BP forms, especially after a cloning process to first create them.
Details
In this release, when exporting multiple business process forms in a .csv file format, a Form Smart URL column that contains the smart URL associated with each business process form is added.
A Smart URL option is also added to the Configure Columns feature of the Business Process Forms page. This is not selected by default.

Once selected, the Form Smart URL column appears in the Business Processes Forms page. Users can click the smart URL to open the URL in a new tab where they can create a new business process record. They can also sort the column by records that have a smart URL and records that do not.

Updated .CSV Export Microservice
Benefits
This improves user experience when downloading/exporting data inventory or business process records in a .CSV file format.
Details
These are the updates that apply to both the Business Processes and Data Inventory list pages:
- When the user clicks “Configure Export” and the export pop-up modal appears, no columns are selected by default.
- All columns are optional (no required fields).
- The front-end error message is only triggered if no columns are selected. If one or more columns is selected for any record, then the front-end error message is not displayed.
Data Subject Names are included in .CSV Exports
Benefits
When users include data subjects on the System Record .csv export, they can now understand the information provided since it includes not only the unique IDs and locations but also the data subject names.
Details
In this release, the column in the .CSV file is updated to “Data Subject Types & Locations” where the data subject names, IDs, and locations are shown.

Added New Security Controls to the Security & Retention tab
Benefits
Users now have more options to select when identifying security controls that are applicable to the business process record they created.
Details
In this release, the following security controls are added to the Security & Retention tab of the business process record, business process form, and business process questionnaire:
- Anonymization
- Data minimisation
- De-identification
- Events logging
- External verification, assurance and/or certification
- Government Access Policies
- Physical security measures for data processing locations
The security controls are arranged in alphabetical order.
Below is a screenshot of the updated Security & Retention tab > Security Controls section of the business process record. The new security controls are highlighted in yellow.
