This feature allows the user to mass upload closed historical Data Subject Requests from DSR systems to IRM using a .csv file. Admins can download CSV file format for a particular intake form and then upload the same file with data populated. The upload feature validates the file and catches any errors when a file is imported. These are the validations set:
- File must be a valid .csv file type
- File must not exceed 100MB
- Single file upload only
- The date format should be YYYY-MM-DD
NOTE: When adding a comma-separated value in the template (e.g. 123 Any Street, Bakersfield Field, CA 1233), the value should have a Delimiter by using quotation marks (e.g. “123 Any Street, Bakersfield Field, CA 1233”).
To download the CSV format and then upload the file with Data Subject Requests, follow these steps:
- On the Requests page, click the Import .csv Request Data icon.
- Select the appropriate Intake Form from the drop-down menu and click Download Form. Use the downloaded CSV file as a reference format to populate historical request data.
- Upload the CSV file with DSR data in the Import request field and click Import.
