Understanding the Different Assessment Manager User Roles

Overview

The following tables list all pre-configured User Roles in Assessment Manager and the permissions associated with each role. Use this page as a reference when assigning roles to users.

Permissions are grouped across three areas: Assessments and Comments; Approvals, Templates, and Tasks; and Email Templates, Labels, and User Management.

Conventions used in this article
Own — The user can view, update, or delete only entities they created.
Any — The user can view, update, or delete any entities, including those created by other users.
Associated — The user can act only on entities they are associated with — for example, as a Creator, Owner, Respondent, Approver, Participant, or Task Assignee. See Assessment Roles and Managing Tasks.
Assigned — The user can act only on entities associated with an Assessment to which they are assigned as a Respondent. See Assessment Roles.
