Adding Sections

Overview

Template questions must be grouped into sections. A template must have at least one section containing at least one question. You can also display instructions to respondents or request acceptance of Terms of Use before the survey. These are called the Prologue Section (shown before the survey) and Epilogue Section (shown after it). For more information, see Adding Prologue and Epilogue.

From the Template Details page, click Add Section.

Enter the section name and an optional description, and then click Save.

The description is for internal purposes only and is not shown to respondents.

📋 Notes
Click Save and Add Another (1) to go straight to the next section's creation screen — useful when creating several sections in sequence.
After adding multiple sections, you can reorder them by clicking the drag handle icon (2) to the left of the section name and dragging it to the desired position.
Editing and Deleting Sections

To edit or delete a section, click the context menu button to the right of Add Question, and then select Edit Section or Delete Section.
