Requests Tab

  • Due Date countdown – Due Date countdown can be set to either when a request is received or when a request is verified.

  • Default Due In days – This default due in days is used for a request if no due in days conditions are satisfied. Please refer to Due in Days Configuration section for more information.

  • Intake form for Manual adding of Requests – DPOs or Admins can create Requests manually on behalf of a Data Subject. This functionality is provided in the IRM Requests home page using a “+” button as shown below. However, this “Intake form for Manual adding of Requests” setting allows Admins to specify which intake forms to be used while creating Requests on behalf of a Data Subject.

  • Limit number of requests per data subject – It allows DPOs or Admins to limit the number of requests a user can make in a given period of time.

  • Auto re-open closed requests on DS reply

  • Auto-respond to a DS reply on closed requests

  • Close subtasks when parent task is closed – When enabled, subtasks automatically close  when the parent task is completed.

  • Close parent task when all subtasks are closed – When enabled, the parent task automatically closes when all of its subtasks are completed.

  • Restrict superadmin access to DSR details – When enabled, this allows Admin users to block Super Admins from seeing the DSR Details. The TrustArc support team usually has superadmin privileges. If a customer's IRM instance is hosted in the EU to collect DSRs from EU citizens, then the DAR data cannot flow out of the EU. Since the TrustArc Support team is not in the EU, this feature can be used to stop the DSR data from being accessed by the TrustArc support team outside the EU.

  • Record of Data Subject’s IP address on the DSR – When enabled, this allows IRM users to enable capturing of Data Subject’s IP Address in the DSR.

  • Shorten the DSR reference ID – When enabled, all DSR references in emails to Data Subjects are converted to a shortened reference format.
