When you receive a notification, the bell icon animates to alert users of new notifications. The bell icon displays how many unread notifications you have. Depending on the nature of information sent, notifications are subdivided into the following types:
- Informational – this contains information about the platform. For example, product releases, new assessments to be revalidated, or a new business process to be revalidated.
- Warning – this contains information about some changes done in the platform or application that might have an impact on a process or business. For example, "Entity Risk moved from Medium Risk to High Risk".
- Error – this contains information about an error on a particular capability or background process. For example, failure to download a report.
To review notifications, follow these easy steps:
- On the upper-right corner of the page, click the bell icon. This displays the notifications in chronological order to update you on key events.
- Click a notification from the Notification window to view more details.
NOTE: Clicking the View All link (1) takes you to the Notifications page. Clicking the Mark all Read link (2) reads all notifications. Clicking the gear icon (3) opens the Settings page.
