Upgrading Intake Forms

In early 2025, we introduced a new version of TrustArc Individual Rights Manager (IRM) forms designed to deliver a significantly improved experience—including WCAG-compliant accessibility and a modernized platform architecture.

To ensure you continue to have the best experience, we ask that you upgrade all active IRM forms to the latest version (v2.1).

NOTES:

  • The Upgrade Form button is only available for forms created using Intake Form version 2.0 or earlier.
  • You can also use Ask Arc to generate a summary of forms using version 1.1. For more details, refer to the Pulling a Complete List of Version 1.1 Forms section below. 
  • You can verify the current version of a form by checking the Renderer Version displayed in the top-right corner of the form.

To upgrade your existing forms to ensure WCAG 2.2 compliance, follow the steps below:

  1. In the Individual Manager Rights panel, go to Admin (1) > Forms (2).

  2. Select the intake form you want to upgrade.

  3. Click Upgrade Form.

  4. In the Upgrade Form modal, click Upgrade Form again for confirmation.

    A message appears indicating that the upgrade was successful.

    Pulling a Complete List of Version 1.1 Forms

    You can use Ask Arc to generate a complete list of intake forms using version 1.1 directly from the Individual Rights Manager app.

    Follow the steps below:

    1. From the classic TrustArc environment, switch to the Arc Experience.

    2. On the Home page, click the What would you like to do? field and then enter a prompt such as:

    "Can you check the Individual Rights Manager app and give me a full list of intake forms that are still on version 1.1"

    3. Press Enter to submit your request. Ask Arc will begin analyzing and retrieving the data.

    NOTE: This process may take some time, especially if there are many forms across multiple pages.

    Example Result

    In the example below, Ask Arc retrieved:

      - 182 intake forms on version 1.1

      - Scanned across 18 pages

      - Out of 353 total forms

    Exporting the Results

    You can also ask Ask Arc to export the results into a file format such as:

      - PDF

      - Excel

      - CSV

    NOTE: File generation may take a few moments depending on the size of the dataset.

      - KPI summary cards showing totals for Active, Complete, and Incomplete forms
