Data Mapping & Risk Manager is a TrustArc tool that helps customers store inventory data such as Systems, Partners, Vendors, Affiliates and create visual data flow maps of all business processes. IRM integrates to Data Mapping & Risk Manager to fetch a list of IT Systems where data for the Data Subject could reside. This list is returned by Data Mapping & Risk Manager based on Data Subject Type and Data Subject Location (Resident Of field).
NOTE: List of IT systems returned by Data Mapping & Risk Manager are shown under Systems tab in the request.
Configuring and enabling Data Mapping & Risk Manager integration is simple. To configure Data Mapping & Risk Manager, follow these steps:
- Select Data Mapping & Risk Manager from the Integrations menu.
Specify the Due Days by selecting a range in the drop-down menu. This is used as due days for all the tasks created automatically for the IT Systems returned by Data Mapping & Risk Manager.
Specify the Priority type. Priority is used as priority for all the tasks created automatically for the IT Systems returned by Data Mapping & Risk Manager.
NOTE: IRM allows settings for automatic creation of Tasks based on the systems returned by Data Mapping & Risk Manager. If automatic task creation is enabled, a task for each is created and listed under Tasks tab of the request for the IT systems returned by Data Mapping & Risk Manager.
