New Features

Business process and data inventory record audit logs

  • Feature Location: The business process record audit log is located within the ellipsis menu right of the record. Click “View” in the ellipsis menu, and scroll to the audit log section. The data inventory record audit log is located under the record “Assessment” tab.
  • Description: This feature provides Hub users with a detailed record of data inventory and business process record activities, organized by user and date/time.
  • Benefit: Allows users to track record activities.
  • How will this look to a user?

    Date Inventory Record Audit Log

    1. Navigate to the Data Inventory.

    2. Select the ellipsis menu to the right of the record.

    3. Select ‘Edit’.

    4. Select the ‘Assessments’ tab.

    5. Scroll down to view the audit log for that record.

    Business Process Record Audit Log
  1. Navigate to the Business Processes tab
  2. Select the ellipsis menu right of the business process record
  3. Select ‘View’
  4. Scroll down to view the audit log for that record

Addition of Data Subject Location on System record

  • Feature Location: Navigate to the Data Inventory tab, select a System record or create a new System record. Scroll down to the Data Subject section on the first tab. Notice users can now indicate the region(s) (country, state/province) that each Data Subject is located.
  • Description: Users have the ability to indicate what data subjects are providing information at the System level and where those data subjects are located.
  • What does this enhancement look like?
    1. Navigate to the Data Inventory
    2. Click the ellipsis menu right of a System record
    3. Select ‘Edit’
    4. Scroll down to the Data Subject field
    5. Add a Data Subject

      A pop-up modal will appear, allowing users to select country(s) and states/provinces.
