Display Tab

  • Label – This is a free text field that is mandatory.
     
  • Show Label on the form – This allows you to display the form label when rendering the form field.
     
  • Display Message in the Consent Details – This displays the value you added in the Message field to the consent details when the form is submitted. Note that this feature only applies to new consents submitted after the CPM 2024.07.02 release. Existing consents will not display the message value in the consent details page.
     
  • Helpful Information Text – Displays a help icon or tooltip next to a form field to provide more information.
     
  • Message – The content you wish to display to provide more information.

Styling Tab

  • Font – Select the font face from the drop-down menu.
     
  • Font Size – Select the size of the font.
     
  • Label Text – Select the label text color from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Switch Thumb Color – Select the switch thumb color from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Inactive Background – Select the inactive background from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Active Background – Select the active background from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Required Field Indicator – Select the required field indicator color from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Information Icon – Select the information icon color from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Helpful Information Background – Select the helpful information background color from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Helpful Information Text Color – Select the helpful information text color from the color palette or enter the HEX code.
     
  • Helpful Information Text Font – Select the helpful information text font face from the dropdown menu.
     
  • Font Size – Select the size of the helpful information font.
     
  • Toggle Switch Alignment – Select the toggle switch alignment from the drop-down menu.
     
  • Display State Text – When enabled, this displays an additional text label informing the users the current value of the toggle.
     
  • Reset to default – Erases the custom settings and restores styling to default settings
     
  • Field Preview – This provides a real time preview of the customized field.

Consent Rule Tab

  • Apply Jurisdiction-based Consent Rule – Click the checkbox to apply jurisdiction-based consent rule. This setting uses the consent rules in the Jurisdictions page. If the default option is not provided for a Jurisdiction, then, the selected option in the default state field below will be used.
     
  • Default Value – This defines the initial (default) value of the input field.
     
  • Value – This allows you to set the value of the Toggle Switch field to either Toggle On is Opt-in or Toggle On is Opt-out. 

Settings Tab

  • Required – This checkbox allows the user to mark the field as a required field.
     
  • Hidden – This checkbox allows the user to hide the field.
     
  • Read-only – A checkbox that allows "Read-Only."
     
  • PI Data – A checkbox that tags the field as PI Data.
     
  • Field UUID – This is a read-only field and is auto-generated once saved.
     
  • Data Field – This is a drop-down field with the list of Purposes created from the Data Subject Type page.
