Q: Is Arc included in my subscription?


A: Yes — Arc is included at no additional cost for TrustArc customers.

Q: Will my data require migration?

A: No migration is required. Your data and settings remain intact when you enable Arc.

Q: Does Ask Arc provide legal advice?

 A: No — Ask Arc is a decision-support tool. It summarizes information and suggests next steps but is not a substitute for legal counsel.

Q: Can I restrict Ask Arc to only use uploaded evidence?

 A: Not entirely. Ask Arc uses multiple sources (live program data, Evidence Library, Nymity Research, product docs, public sources). You can, however:

  • Use Evidence Library permissions to limit which uploaded content Ask Arc can access.
     
  • Add prompt-level instructions to prioritize or exclude sources for a specific query (e.g., “Only use uploaded documents”).

NOTE: Nymity Research references are available only if you have a Nymity Research license subscription.

Q: Does Ask Arc learn from my prompts?

 A: No — Ask Arc does not learn or adapt from user prompts or feedback. It does not create persistent behavioral changes or model updates based on your queries.
