Based on the frequency set, Integrations solutions will talk to a BigID instance and fetch the latest results of the data source scan. Based on the mapping, these scan results are updated in the Data Mapping & Risk System records.
If a new Data Source or a new Data Element is found, then Admins are emailed with these results and are required to come to the integration page to map further. The status of the mapping is also displayed in the logs as shown below.
