The Banner Report provides the ability to run reports on how users interact with your Implied Consent banner if used.
NOTE: The Banner Report does not include user interaction metrics with the Cookie Consent Manager modals. The only metrics provided within this report are the interactions within the Implied Consent banners.
To generate a Banner Report, follow the steps below.
From the Cookie Consent Manager platform navigation panel, select Reports > Detailed Report.
In the Saved Reports section, select Banner (1). To narrow down your report results, click More Filters (2).
Then, set the report parameters.
- Type – Select whether the report type is Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
- Date Range – Select a date range data was recorded.
- Domain – Select the domain.
- Behavior – Select the behavior the user interacted with: Summary, Comprehensive, Expressed, or Implied.
- Consent Location – Enter the URL where consent was obtained: Summary or Comprehensive
- Country – Select the country.
- State/Province – Select the state/province.
- User Type – Select whether the user is new or existing.
- Device Type – Select the device type when you set a consent value: Comprehensive, Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, Unknown
- Device OS – User OS: Comprehensive, Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux
NOTE: Comprehensive selection breaks down the report based on the selected parameter. The Summary selection provides an aggregate report without a breakdown.
Click Apply Filters. Once complete you can view the data within the portal.
NOTE: If you are working with a large amount of data, there may be a delay in report creation. Please allow extra time for the report to generate.
Banner Report Definitions
The Banner Report displays the following information:
- Date (UTC): Date range of the report.
- Domain: Displays the website domain where the consent UI was shown.
- Country: Displays the country where the event occurred.
- State: Displays the state/province where the event occurred.
- User Type: Specifies if consent was given by new or existing user(s).
- Device Type: Displays the device type of the users when they set a consent value (MOBILE, TABLET, DESKTOP, or UNKNOWN).
- Device OS: Displays the device OS of the user (WINDOWS, MAC, ANDROID, IOS, or UNKNOWN).
- Consent Location: Displays the location where the consent was given.
- Impressions: Displays the total times the consent UI was displayed.
- Unique User Impressions: Displays the number of unique users who saw the consent UI.
- Banner Views: Displays the total views of the consent UI.
- Banner Unique User Views: Displays the number of unique users who viewed the UI.
- Banner Accepts: Displays the number of users who accepted cookies.
- Banner More Info: Displays the number of users who clicked to personalize their consent.
- Banner Cookie Policy: Displays the number of users who clicked on the cookie policy link.
- Banner Required Only: Displays the number of users who declined all non-essential cookies.
- Banner 2 Step Opt-In: Displays the number of users who opted in via the two-step process.
- Banner Opt In Rate: Displays the percent of users who accepted cookies.
- Banner Opt Out Rate: Displays the percent of users who declined cookies.
