You can move and remap existing sub-categories into other categories, including custom created categories. When scanning, TrustArc automatically categorizes trackers based on the sub-category assigned to them when we analyze new vendors found.
You can assign a sub-category to a different parent category by adjusting the mapping. Future scans will then assign trackers to this new category. You can view the sub-categories assigned to vendors if you export the CSV from the Category Trackers tab.
Note that you cannot assign a sub-category to more than one parent category. If you move a sub-category out of a parent category and not into another parent category, the system displays a confirmation window:
