Mailchimp provides support to help launch, build, and grow businesses and their marketing. CPM’s integration with Mailchimp allows users to migrate CPM consent data to Mailchimp in real time by mapping CPM Metadata to Mailchimp objects. This section details how to set up this integration.

From the Consent & Preferences platform navigation panel, select Setup > Integrations.

Select CPM to Mailchimp from the list of third-party service providers. You can also do this by simply typing CPM to Mailchimp or Mailchimp in the search field provided.
NOTE: If the CPM to Mailchimp feature is not enabled for your account, contact TrustArc Support to assist you with an account upgrade.

As an option before you begin the setup, you can edit the Integration Details by clicking the ellipsis (...) button.

Click the Setup button to begin the integration. A Missing Client Credentials notification will display if Client ID and Client Secret are not generated. Refer to the Client Credentials Set Up section for more information.

From the Login tab, log in to your Mailchimp account.

Once login is successfully initiated, enter an Email Address in the field provided. This will be used as a contact in case of any errors from Mailchimp. You may add up to 10 email addresses. Click Next to proceed.

From the Consents tab, under Mappings, select the Consent Form you wish to integrate Mailchimp with.

Click Add New Object to begin mapping Mailchimp attributes.

Select a Mailchimp Object from the dropdown menu and set the Mailchimp Mapping to Required.

Click Add Criteria and select migration criteria from the dropdown menu. Then, fill out each selected criteria.

Click the Add Mappings button and map the CPM attributes to the Mailchimp attributes. Click Save to retain the configuration settings.

Click the Enable Integration (1) button to complete the integration process.
NOTE: Clicking the View Consent Form (2) allows you to view the consent form where the integration is mapped. Clicking the Delete All Object (3) removes all mapped attributes from the consent form.
Create New CPM to Mailchimp Integration Instance
Customers can clone CPM to Mailchimp Integration. In each of these CPM to Mailchimp Integration instances, users can map different CPM consent and data subjects to Mailchimp objects. To create a new CPM to Mailchimp integration instance, follow the steps below.

From the Consent & Preferences platform navigation panel, select Setup > Integrations.

Select CPM to Mailchimp from the list of third-party service providers and click Create New Instance.

Edit the Integration Details of this new instance as desired and click Save. This automatically creates a copy of the selected instance.
