Generating a Business Process Summary Report

Overview

The Business Process Summary report provides a structured summary of one or more business process records, and can optionally include a Data Flow Chart and a Global Map. You generate the report directly from the Business Processes page in the Data Mapping & Risk Manager (DMRM).

This article explains how to generate a Business Process Summary report.

What you can do
Generate a Business Process Summary report for one or more business process records
Include a Data Flow Chart and/or Global Map in the report
Include Custom Page Q&A if the selected record has custom page questions configured
Generating a Business Process Summary Report

To generate a Business Process Summary report, follow these steps:

In the left navigation panel, hover over the Data Mapping & Risk Manager icon, and then select Business Processes.

Select one or more business process records.

In the top-right corner of the page, click the Download button (1), and then select Business Process Summary Report (2).

In the Generate Report modal, select Data Flow Chart, Global Map, or both, and then click Run Report.

📋 Note: Custom Page Q&A can only be selected if the business process record has a custom page Q&A configured.

Open the downloaded report and scroll to the last two pages to view the Data Flow Chart and/or Global Map.
