This summary is available for TrustArc Privacy Scanning customers. If this module has been enabled the Data Collection Summary will display the total number of:
- Pages Collecting PII
- Pages Collecting Sensitive PII
- Pages Collecting Age Info
Clicking on the Data Collection Summary will take you to the Data Collection Details report which will provide you with insight to the personal information collection practices on your websites. Clicking on a particular personal information type will focus the Data Collection Details report on that type.
Data Collection Details
In the Data Collection Details report you will be provided with the following information:
- Page URL – This is the page the collection of personal information was identified on.
- Personal Information Type (PII, Sensitive PII, Age) – A ✓ will appear in each column if collection of this type of personal information was identified on the page. Selecting Personal Information Type(s) from the top of the page will further filter the report to pages collecting only those information types.
- Link to Privacy Policy – This is the link to the Privacy Policy associated with the page.
Each page identified in the report will have a + to the left. Clicking on the + will expand the detailed information concerning the mechanisms collecting personal information.
This information includes:
- SSL – A ✓ indicates the data collection is protected using SSL.
- Form Name – This is the name of the form on the page collecting the personal information.
- Form Action – This lists the specific personal information being collected by the specified form on the page.
