Configuring the Assessment Revalidation Settings on an Assessment Level

Overview

If your company or organization conducts assessments on a regular or annual recurring basis, you can set a revalidation schedule at the assessment level. Revalidation schedules can be set on assessments in any assessment phase.

⚠ Note: This task is available only to users with admin role privileges.
Method 1: Configuring Settings via Revalidation > Assessment Level

From the left side of the page, hover the mouse over the Assessment Manager icon, and then navigate to Revalidation (1) > Assessment Revalidation (2).

Click the Add Revalidation Schedule button (3).

From the Revalidation Settings modal, select an assessment, and then configure the following sections:

Set the revalidation period.
Add the main and secondary recipients of your revalidation notification email.
📋 Notes
The approved assessment stakeholders are retained on the cloned assessment.
The same assessment role or user cannot be selected in both the Main Recipients and Secondary Recipients fields.
A default TrustArc message is provided (including a Reset to Defaults function), but you can create your own message. Custom email messaging for any email category can be created under Admin > Email Templates.
Send Reminder section

Set a one-time reminder prior to the revalidation date. For example, if the revalidation date is set to 24 months and you want recipients to be reminded two months in advance, set the reminder to 22 months. The month count starts only after the assessment is approved.
Add the main and secondary recipients of your reminder revalidation email.

Method 2: Configuring Settings via the All Assessments Page

Scheduling revalidation for a single assessment

From the left side of the page, hover the mouse over the Assessment Manager icon, and then select Assessments.

To the right of the assessment record, click the ellipsis icon and then select Schedule Revalidation.

Configure the Revalidation settings, and then click Submit.

Scheduling revalidation for multiple assessments

📋 Note: You can set a revalidation schedule for two or more assessments at the same time from the All Assessments page. Changes to the settings will override any existing revalidation settings.

From the All Assessments page, select two or more assessments, and then click Schedule Revalidation in the top-right corner.

Configure the Revalidation settings, and then click Submit.
Editing or Deleting a Revalidation Schedule

Revalidation schedules set from the All Assessments page automatically appear in Revalidation > Assessment Level, where they can be edited or deleted.

Find the assessment in the list and, to its right, click either the Edit or Delete icon.
